    "This Recommended Practice was developed to provide guidance on the presentation of e-journals-particularly in the areas of title presentation, accurate use of ISSN, and citation practices-to publishers and platform providers, as well as to solve some long-standing concerns of serials, collections, and electronic resources librarians.     "The SCAPE project has just published the fourth edition of the newsletter.     "The APARSEN project has issued its second newsletter, which summarises achievements and activities in digital preservation (DP) research and investigation of the European DP landscape in the second project year. It informs about upcoming events in DP and presents initiatives who wish to cooperate with APARSEN....The APARSEN project involves a very broad set of organisations from academia, research laboratories, major national libraries, national membership organisations and industry.   • C&RLarchive, Complete College & Research Libraries Archives.

    "As part of C&RL's commitment to scholarly publishing and open access, the full archive is now freely available online. The online C&RLarchive now contains the complete contents of the journal from its beginnings in 1939 through the current issue. C&RLarchival contents from 1939 through 1996 were digitized through the generous volunteer efforts of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Library. The library's Digital Content Creation department performed scanning and metadata creation for the approximately 340 back file issues of the journal in 2011 and 2012. The digitized files were added to the journal's online presence with the financial assistance of the ACRL Friends Fund."

    "IDEC 2013 aims to provide a multinational platform where the latest trends in distance education can be presented and discussed in a friendly environment with the aim to learn from each other. Prospective presenters are encouraged to submit proposals for papers, posters/demonstrations and video presentations that offer new research or theoretical contributions. Presentations should be in Turkish, English or the Korean language and should address both theoretical issues and new research findings."

    "Pervasive and embedded computing and communication is a paradigm that aims at providing trustworthy computing solutions and communication services all the time and everywhere. This entails the need for an interdisciplinary field of R&D that combines signal processing with computer hardware and software technologies, and utilizes and integrates pervasive, wireless, embedded, wearable and/or mobile systems. Applications range from ambient intelligence to ubiquitous multimedia, multidimensional signal processing, sensors, robotics, integrated communication systems and nanotechnologies.     "While Knowledge Organization (KO) practices permeate society, the name 'Knowledge Organization' is known only to a few. Invisible boundaries separate KO researchers from the practitioners who could benefit from their findings, and also come between distinct fields of application such as records management, web design, librarianship, information retrieval, etc. This conference aims to explore such boundaries, challenge them and advance our thinking into new territory.
